Help please! Intervideo DVD error...

I am having the same problem that poster 'hotmale1540' is having. My hard drive died and upon re-installing the new hard drive with everything (drivers, software, etc.) I am having trouble w/ Intervideo WinDvd. I get the message: C:WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe  C:\PROGRAM FILES\Symantec\S32EVNT1.DLL. An installable Virtual Device Driver failed DLL initialization. When I choose "Close" I get a box that says "A server error has occurred". When I click on "O.K", another box says "This is not  a qualified Dell machine." I checked in my Device manager and I do not have a "!" in any device in this list, plus I updated to the latest DirectX version. What is the problem? I should not have to re-install Windows XP and I should not have to pay $50 for Tech support to answer this question when Dell's hard drive failed. Very frustrated w/ DELL...

P.S. I do not have Symantec installed anymore, which means I do not have a SYMANTEC folder inside PROGRAM FILES. Thanks for the help!!!
