IDE hdd to S-ATA hdd

I have a Dimension 3000 Pentium 4, and I've been trying to exchange the IDE hard drive for the S-ATA hard drive. My Dimension motherboard doesn't have onboard S-ATA controller. So I went and got a SIIG serial ATA PCI card to hook my S-ATA hard drive up. When I boot up the pc, it recognizes my S-ATA controller and hard drive. But for some reason I can't get Windows to recoginize the S-ATA hard drive at the initial setup of windows. Please, let me know if there's a solution to this problem?

You need to press F6 where indicated during the install, and insert the floppy with the SIIG drivers on it.

Thanks for the info.  I was able to install my S-ATA hdd.  But there's one problem.  Everytime i boot up my computer, there's this one page that said i have two options.  One is F1, which to enter my windows.  The other is F2, which enter Bios Setup.  Is there anyway that i can bypass this screen and just boot my computer straight to windows without having to press F1?  Please advise.  Thanks so much for the knowledge.

In the BIOS on the first page will be an option to read the error log. Find the error that's tripping the F1/F2, correct it, and clear the log (same place as you used to read it).

Once that's done you won't see the error any longer.

I DON'T SEE NO ERROR LOG.  OPTION F1 AND F2 ARE NOT ERRORS.  F1 IS TO BOOT NORMAL AND F2 TO SETUP.  AND THIS THING STARTED TO BOTHERS ME. LOL  IS THERE ANOTHER WAY THAT I CAN TRY OR CAN YOU DICTATE THE SOLUTION IN MORE DETAILS PLEASE.  THANK YOU.
