Intel Matrix Storage Manager?
Hello,
Just bought a XPS 400. It comes with Intel Matrix Storage Manager installed. Do I really need this? What are the benefits of the software? Thanks in advance.

Leave it in place. I beleive this will allow you to migrate you single drive to RAID 0 or 1. If you already have RAID this is what monitors the RAID. Basically with this in place your RAID ready. Also there is a Pre-OS SATA RAID Driver that has been installed.
