InterActual Player
I just borrowed a DVD from the library (Harry Potter) and this is the first time I have ever used a DVD on my system.
My question is this, I am wondering what exactly InterActual Player is and do I need to have this on my system to play DVD's?
Also, if I wanted to uninstall it, are there any special things I should know about when doing so?
I am very naive when it comes to this, as you can probably tell, and I'm hoping someone can give me some basic tips on this.
Also, I believe I posted this question to the wrong board as I do not have a Latitude system, I have a Dimension 8100. I don't know if this matters or not. Sorry.
Thank you.

IMHO, these "players" that are on DVDs are just extensions of Hollywood marketing. I always ignore these players and just use my software DVD player: WinDVD.

So, since I now know I don't really need this "program" to run DVD's, do you have any special advice for uninstalling it? I'm sure they'll be alot of extra files hanging around out there if I do a basic uninstall. Seems to always be.
If you don't, that's fine too. My initial question was answered and that's all that matters.
Thanks again.

To remove InterActual Player do the following
1. Goto ADD/REMOVE programs
2. Remove InterActual Player
3. Go to C:\program files and delete the InterActual Player directory
4. Do a search in the registry for InterActual Player and remove all keys and values associated with it.
