Kodak EasyShare Not Recognizing Drive E
I realize this is probably the most basic of questions..but I have a new 4600 with the 8x DVD+R/RW CD-RW Combination Drive. I also bought a Kodak 6340 EasyShare Camera with my system. When I try to burn a CD-RW in Drive E, the EasyShare program says that I cannot read a disc in drive E. What gives ?? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

It really doesn't seem to matter what camera you have, I also had problems with the Kodak software when I upgraded to their latest version. What version are you using? I had contacted Kodak tech's and didn't get much of a resolve from them, so I finally just wiped out everything in my system that said "kodak" on it, and re-installed my old version,(2.1). I can't burn directly from the software now, but can burn from a saved picture file. Let me know what's happening. I would also like to burn direct from Kodak software.

.....well...wait a minute... I a bought a Dell because my last computer wasn't and it was a bad experience.
I figured everything Dell sold as a bundle would work together.
I also spent an additional $75.00 for Kodak's docking station. You place the camera in the dock, hit one button, and the software automatically transfers pictures to the Kodak program.
If I have to disable Kodak's Easyshare, and not utilize the dock...WTF ???
Know what that means ??
