Launcher.exe

I had to reinstall my windows 2000 and now when I try to install the software for my CD Burner, as soon as the cd starts I het the Message: "Launcher .exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.  You will need to restart the rogram."

Any Ideas why is this happening and what can I do to solve this problem?
