light scribe

I want to buy an external CD/DVD drive with light scribe technology because I am spending a small fortune on ink cartridges making labels. All of the customer reviews I've read so far on these products on websites such as Circuit City and Amazon.com have been negative. They have been dissatisfied with either the light scribe image or the drive itself. Has anybody used one that works good, and if so what brand/model number and what software (Nero, etc.)? Also, where did you purchase it? My computer is an XPS 200, XP professional.

Hi Grantjp,

I have not had the chance to try one of these drives yet; however for reviews and purchasing, give New Egg a try.
Also another site for reviews on drives, software and media, go here
The Lite-on drives tends to get good reviews with lightscribe technology.

Best Regards

Thanks, I found what I was looking for at NewEgg. Best Buy actually had it on sale for a little less (wonders never cease), so now I don't have to wait on it to ship.
