low on disk space error

Question

At first, i checked my hard drive's properties and saw that it says i have about 100 mb of free space left. Then i removed 900 mb of data from the hard drive and checked the properties again. This time, it saids that there's 200 mb of free space remaining which is incorrect since i've already freed up 900 mb of free space. How do i fix this problem?

personally, i would get a bigger hard drive. heard bad things can happen when you run out of drive space

what is your hard drive capacity & how r u freeing up space? are u using disk cleanup, add remove programs or just manually deleting big files?
