Hi, Person:

Can you tell me the program you are using to burn DVDs, what kind of DVD you are burning (data, movie, etc.), and the brand/speed/format of the blank DVD (for example, Maxell DVD+R, 16x).

Hi, Person:

Follow the link in my signature and grab the utility called DVD Identifier. Use that to determine the media code of your blank discs.

Hi, Person:

I've checked the database and those discs have a very poor reputation. I would recommend you go buy something else. I personally use Verbatim DVD+R 16x almost exclusively, and I've found these to be about the most reliable brand out there. They will work in all laptop 8x burners.

Let me know if you can a chance to try them and how they work for you!

Ok I think I figured it out. All I had to do was burn them at the slowest possible speed and it seemed to work fine.

Ok, sounds like a good work-around for those discs.
