Mac CD kills PC with Bad pool header error

I have a new MacBook Pro and any disk that I create on the Mac causes an immediate blue screen error Bad_Pool_Header on my Dell desktop. I've had this system for about 4 years with never a problem. I can create and burn cd's on the PC that work fine in the Mac, but anything out of the Mac immediately kills the PC. Every other disk I've found works ok in the pc...commercial music cd's, dvd movies, photo disks from costco etc. Seems like something bad is coming from the Mac but their experts are baffled. Any ideas?
