Make my computer faster

Question

I have a Dell Intel Pentium III processor, 1.0 GHZ, 128 MB RAM     D600/500.   I ran a defrag but I want the computer to run faster. Any suggestion? Increase RAM? If so, what type?   Currently running Windpws XP

More RAM will definitely help. This system need PC100, LOW DENSITY SDRAM.

www.crucial.com - if you buy elsewhere, be careful. Most SDRAM is now high density and will absolutely not work in this system.

Excuse me, ejn63, but he said D600/500, not C600/500. That uses DDR SDRAM. Either he does not have a D600/500, or it is the first one I have heard of using a P3 Message Edited by leduke30 on 08-16-2005 05:28 PM
