Maxtor Hard drive cannot boot to windows operating systems-HELP PLEASE!
:smileymad:
After buying a Maxtor External hard drive USB 2.0, the people at Maxtor told me that I cannot boot to a windows system without the proper devices and drivers. What the heck does this mean? They also told me to go with Norton Ghost as a drive imaging program rather than Acronis 8.0 which I would rather buy. I am a beginner who is becoming more & more frustrated about simply backing up my frickin computer. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Thank you for your reply, but does this mean that I should return my external hard drive, even though I was going to purchase Acronis True Image 8.0 for making an image of my internal hard drive.
Thanks
