Mini Disks
I currently have a hardware device, more specifically a Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless adapter. It requires a driver to be installed which is provided on a mini-disk (To my knowledge i have been unable to find a driver online for this hardware). My desktop is an Alienware X51, because of the nature of it's disk driver, CDs and DVD have to insert in the slot provided, which functions great for standard size disks, but as for the mini-disks which are about 2 and a half inches in diameter, the CD drive doesn't "receive" the CD. Is there anyway to resolve this issue or insert the CD?
Regards,
Quentin

Hi Quentin,
Mini discs should not be used in regular DVD drives, especially slot-loading drives. I suggest you look online for a driver you can download.
I'm really shocked that Microsoft would be distributing a wireless adapter driver on a mini disc.
Good luck!

Hi bhawthorne,
I'm not sure what problem you have. As I said, you should NOT try to read mini discs in a slot-loading CD drive.
