According to the post entitled "mini CD," Jeff/Predator replied that there may need to be some sort of holder for the mini-CD in order for the player to recognize (spin) it. Very helpful reply, Predator!
My Dim 8400's DVD drive isn't recognizing anything in my DVD drive when I put a DVD from my camcorder into it.
So, do I need to buy some sort of mini-DVD-holder which converts the mini into a regular size for the DVD drive? (And why, oh why, didn't Panasonic include that with their model VDR-M53?)
You did "Reply" to your blank thread. What you wanted to do was enter it then use the dropdown list ,Message Options' and pick EDIT. Not a big deal…
Panasonic did not include a holder because there is no such thing! What Jeff mentioned was that most trays have a recess that fits Mini DVDs/CDs.
Some other solutions you should be aware of. Since it is from a camcorder, it will probably have to be Finalized in the camera in order to work. Try it in your DVD Player to see if it can read it. (could check the camera's owners manual as that info is in there).
If the media is RW your DVD-ROM drive may not be able to read it.
Many Players will not work with Mini DVDs and I suspect many ROM won't either.
