Mount Rainer (CD-MRW) sof ware?

Question

I recently found that I have a CD written with Mount Rainer software (from a previous desktop). I believe that it conmtains the files that I currently need. However, my DVD/CD drive does not support this format. What options are available at low/no cost, since it is just one CD I need to recover? Thanks for your help.

Part of Sonic is a program DLA.  Do you have DLA installedon your system?  It should read Mount Rainer discs.

I appear to have DLA installed. But still cannot read the disk. The first time I put it in, something that looked like a spring popped up saying that it was a Mount Rainer Disk. I clicked one of the buttons (unsure what it said) and nothing.

The drive may not be capable of that standard. Try this Utility. otherwise,
consider reading the disc on another system and reburning to a more standard
format of today ........
