Need Help PLEASE... Troubles REFORMATING!

I have a Dell Dimension 4400... it's kind of old, and that's why I need to reformat my hard drive... I lost my Masters CD... so I have three questions:

How do I get a new Masters CD?
Does it cost money? and
Can I reformat my hard drive by using just a Windows XP disc?

I have been on the phone with Dell, trying for 3 days now, and I've been on hold for over an hour and it's making me extremely impatient... please help

For any replacement CDs contact Dell Technical Support, also this check out this post.

The Dell XP reinstallation CD is bootable and can be used to both partition and format the hard drive.

When I call Dell, they ask for your service tag... I'm having troubles finding out which set of numbers it is...

I have:
X08 34930,
F6YK811,
00043-124-453-551          - I would assume that's it... but the examples they give you when you click "Find out my service tag" are 5 or 6 characters?

You need a bunch of drivers after you run the installation cd.  They can be downloaded, but that's another can of worms I'm dealing with right now.  I've got the next step...Dimension 4600.

The EXPRESS SERVICE CODE number is on the side of your computer.  Its a little sticker.  Your SERVICE TAG is a bunch of letters and a couple numbers and it should be part of that sticker also.

To find the Dell Express Service Code and Service Tag

http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kb/en/document?dn=1027149&c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19

You could also, Click Start > Click "Help and Support" > Click "Computer Information" and it should be there.
