I have an 8400 and am wanting to buy a combo CD-DVD burner and each brand comes with either roxio or nero. Have not had experience with either so I was looking for some insight.

What system do you have and what do you want the program to do.  I Roxio for my pictures and Pinnacle Studio for dvds.

Lots of opinions.  Which is better ..... Chevy or Ford.  An
ages old question.  They are both excellent, depending on which
one you own and use ........... and started with.  I use ROXIO
Easy Media Creator 7.  I've been with it through versions 3.5,
4, 5, 6, and now 7.  I've never used Nero even though I know it
is also excellent.

I myself use Roxio, but using the Advance Search you might be able to find out if other users have had any problems.  Both, I have heard different things about.  You can read more about the Roxio programs at http://www.roxio.com/en/support/index.jhtml
Good Luck, Doug

Lets see, if Skybird has a FORD, then I have the Chevy! :smileyvery-happy:
Both programs are great! It's not a question with an easy answer.

Both of these are good, I use both of them. I prefer Nero though.

Nero is without a doubt the better application.
