performance testing software recommendations?

Hi - am trying to evaluate existing systems and components in order to speed up performance. would appreciate recommendqations for system and component performance testing, in particular CPU cache sizes and ACTUAL CLOCK RATE;  RAM THRUPUT (MBps) ; disk rpm, cache, latency, average min and max access times; disk thruput min max average, etc.

have found some of these in multiple tools but am hopeful for integrated performance test tool like old time pctools, or windos/pc mag test suites. prefer no/low cost for home user hobbist - not corporate/business/enterprise high priced environment.
