Problems with the CD-ROM, the driver is missing or corrupted (code 39)

Question

Ok I bought a Studio Laptop 1535 in september... It came with the Optiarc DVD+-RW AD-7640S ATA Device. For a time it was good :) everything just worked fine, but suddently (2 months ago) the cd-rom didn't load the cd's anymore... It also didn't appear in my computer... so If I inserted a cd I coudn't get it out unless I restart the computer doing this will get the cd rom working before windows vista loads. I tried used restore system to a not so old point. Also I went to device manager and I foung a yellow exclamation sign, and the error code 39: 'Windows cannot load the device driver. The driver may be missing or corrupted', I uninstalled it and restarted the computer, the computer auto installed the driver again, but it keep giving me troubles 'didn't work'. =S This is annoying as I can't burn cd with my home work, not even see movies, or whatever...
