QuickTime ERROR...plugin error

I am trying to view a video clip and I keep getting a messege saying that there is a "plugin error within this page".

Can anyone tell me what to do.  I already uninstalled and reinstalled QuickTime.  After I did that I still got the error messege.

Thanks
M.

Do you have Quick Time running in systray when you boot? You sure it is running when you try the clip? If you have an internet security suite maybe you need to approve the program in firewall/program settings. Also, the plug-in has to be allowed through windows also I think. But usually when you install QT it will do most the above.

When i bootup it is displayed down in the lower right corner of my tray.  I also checked msconfig and it is checked to boot up at startup.  I have McAfee Firewall and QuickTime has full Access ....
