reinstall computer with datasafe

I'm working on an XPS 400 computer for a friend with the 250 datasafe option.  He ordered it with Media Center edition, and he neds XP Professional.  Since you cannot upgrade media center 2005 to professional, I need to do a clean reinstall of XP Pro.    I need to know how the drives are partitioned (I ended up wiping out the partitions when playing with the RAID controller) and how to set Ghost up to make use of these partitions.  Dell does not seem to have a reinstall guide for this model of PC.  Any help is appreciated.

It's gone, so you must start over.

Boot the OS CD, press F6 when indicated, insert the floppy diskette with the SATA drivers into an internal floppy drive, continue the install, patch XP fully, install the chipset, audio, video, modem, network and other drivers.

Yes, I know that much.. I've done this.  But what is needed to get Ghost set up the way it is from the factory?  Do I need to just leave a small partition of the RAID for Ghost backups?  If so, what size?  It is things like that I'm unsure of.
