Remove dell installed partition

This is a newer unit with a 120 g hd, it came with a 89 mb partition that dell put there, i formatted and installed xp pro, this partition is still there and partition magic says there is a program running there, there is no sw running from dell, allready used fdisk to delete this part., but its still there, its only 89m b but its my drive not dells, how do i get rid of this partition???

I deleted mine by inserting the XP CD and when it gets to the pick a partition to install to, I just deleted all partitions.  I then reformatted the whole HDD as one partition.

Can't you use PM to delete that partition and merge the resulting FREE space to the C primary partition?

Originally I had wanted to keep the Dell partition just in case it might be useful at some point. But it was at the front of the drive, where I wanted to place a differrent partition, and I could not move it using Bootitng, but Bootitng did allow me to delete it.

Thanx to all who replied, PM won't touch that part. says there's a prog. running, will go with dave's reply.
