Options 1 : Clone the Drive : You will need a 2.5 inch External Drive connector like this to connect your new SSD and clone your old HDD to it. Once Cloning is completed remove HDD and install SSD

Option 2 : Do a fresh start. Make a bootable windows 10 USB using media creation tool
Install your new SSD, Reboot to F12 and boot from USB to install a new window.

No the new hard drive will be blank.
