SD Card Reader Help!
Please can somebody tell me how to get the SD card reader on a Inspiron 9300 working, in device manager it states that the drivers are installed and the sd reader is enabled, yet when i put an SD card in the reader it fails to read it any ideas anyone? Please

Are you using the correct type of card?

I've got the same problem, and yes I am using the right type of card and file format........device appears with a cross against it, remove the device, re-add it, same problem........using xp sp2....
Can anyone assist? Only just got the laptop from dell and none too pleased i'm having to do things like this already.....what happend to QA?

QA? What QA? I is handled by wonderful business model in which every monkey can assemble a laptop and no money-wasting QA is necessary.
