Second Hard Drive Install

Question

Hi, I'm trying install a second hard drive (WD3200AAKS)in my Dell E310. My system will not recognize the new drive. Does not show up in disk management or when I run Data Lifegard diagnostics. Is there something I am missing or is there something wrong with the drive?     Thank you in advance for any help.
