You need to go into the BIOS and activate SATA-1 port.

I will go back in and poke around.  I have full use of the drive its just annoying that I have to push F1 to continue on every boot.

Okay, straightened it out.    I clarifed where to plug the cables into the board and now it seems to be okay.
