i cannot think of any reason why you need the raid card, as the system supports the drives without it, it would seem a waste of time using something the system does not need, it only means that the system takes a little longer to boot i imagine, i would pull it.
I've been thinking the same thing ever since I upgraded the OS to XP. Less case clutter, less resources used, better air circulation (until I discover yet another add-on to I just can't live without:smileysurprised:... It's bootup time isn't really an issue though since I upgraded my processor. It goes by so fast that I can barely see it now.
