ok ...does this mean it has a scratch on it or something

i keep getting this spy ware thing that says someone in spying on me

so i wasnt sure

the computer works fine

smart predicts impending failure of your hdd.

sounds like you also need to disable the messenger service for the popups in addition to backing up all your important data asap!

Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology (SMART) is a technology that dell uses to detect impending hdd failures. so while the disk is still running you better back it up before it crashes on you. like what baccilus said, if your contract is still active, dell will replace your hdd with no questions asked.
