USB 3.0 Device Not Recognized
I have an issue connecting a USB 3.0 device to my dell Inspiron laptop with Windows 10. This is the first time I have tried to plug in a USB 3.0 device (All USB 2.0 Devices have worked perfectly) on this laptop. I get an error message that pops up every 10 seconds that says "USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." I tested the usb device with another laptop and it works fine so I know the problem does not lie with the device itself.
So far I have tried updating the Usb Drivers (all currently up to date), reinstalling the usb drivers, running a find and fix problems with devices test, updating the power options to make sure that "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is unchecked" for each individual usb option and the main power option page, updating the bios, updating windows to the newest update.
Anyone have any suggestions for me to try to get the laptop to recognize my usb device? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What device are you connecting? This is a common problem if the USB port cannot supply enough power for a port-powered device.
What model system?
Do all USB 3.0 devices fail to work, or just one of them?

The device I am trying to connect is a USB Ethernet Adapter. This is the first USB 3.0 device I have tried to use but I tried it on another laptop and it worked so I'm pretty sure the device is not the problem. The laptop system model is a Dell Inspiron 13 - 7353.
