usb boot on dimension e310
Is it possible to boot the dimension e310 from a USB flash device? What format & configuration would be necessary on the usb device?

Boot Sequence
The computer attempts to boot from the sequence of devices specified in this list.
NOTE: If you insert a boot device and restart the computer, this option appears in the system setup menu. To boot from a USB memory device, select the USB device and move it so it becomes the first device in the list.

You need to make the flash drive bootable first and to copy the system files on to it. HP has a utility you can download (or at least you could): SP27213.exe. See here.
I have used it to make flash drives bootable. It is very simple.
