Using controller card

I wound like to install a PCI controller board in my 9150 to take advantage of the sata 300 hard drive I'll be installing.

Do I need to disable the onboard sata connections in the BIOS setup? Or can I run the old sata 150 HD through the onboard connections as a secondary and the new HD through the contoller board?

1. no
2. yes

If you are going to boot from the new sata300 drive, you will have to set the controller card as first boot device in the bios.
