Video decoder error
I have a Dimension 9100 with XP Home Media Center edition. I had to reinstall XP this weekend. I installed via a XP CD, not a CD image. Everything is up and running except for the following problem.
Whenever I try to play a DVD or watch TV, I get an error saying there is a problem with the video decoder or that it isn't installed. I don't see anything with my system that might be viideo decoder software.
Any ideas????

Hi EdwPowers,
In order to play DVD`s you need decoding software, unfortunately you will have to contact Dell to request the discs, see this post from Dell-ChrisM:

God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do and the eyesight to tell the
difference.
