Warning Pop-up disk full

I am constantly receiving popups warning me that my disk is nearly full. I have a Dell Pentium Windows Vista. When I check 'computer' under start it does show Recovery (E) is full. 1.81 MG free of 14.6 GB

I am NOT computer savvy, just a 60 something grandmother, so, please, if you can help me, keep it simple!  I appreciate any help anyone may have.

                 One says:Recovery E date modified 9/1/09 File

One says:MediaID.bin date modified 12/3/13 BIN Flie  1 KB

One says:mcinfo:       date modified 9/14/09 Text Document 1 KB

Hi Mimisjake,

Go to Start and click COMPUTER.  When it opens right click Recovery D then click open. A list of files should appear and if one has your name delete it. Tell me if that works.

Hi, I did as you suggested and got as far as right clicking in Recovery D. All that shows there is Recovery E which is a solid red bar. Now what?

I'm sorry, you need to right click the E drive, not the D drive.
