windows cannot load cd/dvd driver
I have an Inspiron 1521 AMD Turion 64x2 4 gig ram running Vista.
Device manager shows the dvd drive error "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)".
Pulling up the device properties, it shows the latest and greatest driver is installed and trying to update does no good.
Any suggestions short of doing a complete re-installation would be appreciated.
