Yoogee...help please!!

My mother, who lives in another state had some computer problems a few weeks ago, so I went to her house and had to completely wipe out and reload her sys.  I neglected to take any anti-virus or spybot type software with me, and thinking that it would be safe for a little while, I left the sys. unprotected.

Now she has yoogee!!!  I can only find out a little bit about this particular problem, because I am afraid to open any googles search links from home for fear of unwittingly getting the problem myself!

My question is this;  Am I going to have to completely re-wipe and reload her sys., or will spybot or Norton Anti-Virus fix this problem.  I suspect that she got this through an e-mail as she receives literally hundreds a day, even with the EXTRA that she pays her IP for filtering.  She rarely uses the sys. for more than playing pogo and banking.  Will requesting a new e-mail address and wiping the sys. clean and reloading windows and everything fix it?  I would of course, be installing Norton Anti-virus and a Spybot....I am fairly a neophyte to this mess, but it has to be me that fixes it as I am the most computer literate person in my family and the fix requires a three hour drive.  Is there anything else I should take with me to install that will prevent this problem in the future besides the above-mentioned programs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Diana
