Dell Venue 11 Pro No Front Facing Camera in Hangouts
Just receive my Venue 11 Pro last week. I rely a lot on being able to use Google Hangouts. When I start a Hangout, it defaults to using my rear facing camera. When I got to the settings to select the front facing camera, the camera selection drop down menu is grayed out and reads "Integrated Webcam". I have switched off of HD video settings as other forums have recommended but still nothing. I have tried to find a way to disable the rear facing camera to force Hangouts to recognize the front camera, but can't find a way to disable the rear facing camera. Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately, none of the above solutions have worked for me. I wonder if Dell has a solution by now.

One year later, I finally got a tech that gave me a $1.29 fix. He said that I need to buy Top Hangouts which is a Windows product so while he was on the phone with me, I did so and now, the front camera works!

I think there is a patch for this on the Dell support site.
I had a Dell Tech fix it a while ago when they were taking care of a bunch of other issues. (Stalling, camera, etc)
For the past 10+ years I have been buying Dell computers for my office.... And I must say that this one has had the most problems. Dell support was less than average in offering up real solutions to fix the multiple issues with this laptop. I feel Dell should have issued a recall on it.
Also, they need to revamp their software update site. Real world use of it is horrible.
