Updating to code levels that have been released in the last 12 months ensures that you can take advantage of the newest features, functionality, fixes and security enhancements. For Unity that means 5.1.2 or greater. Updating to the Latest Code OR Target Code ensures that you can take advantage of the newest features, functionality, fixes, and security enhancements.
