about:blank spyware cannot be removed

Question

Hi All, In the last 6 hours, I have tried to remove an about:blank homepage kind of spyware. i have used about 4 tools (ad-aware, spybot ...) and also tried some manually ways. But no luck. I have use the reglite tool but I couldn’t find the key 'AppInit_DLLs'. Please help me. I am desperate! i am apologizing in advance, my English is not so well. I am trying to remove the very same spyware.  I have not tried any paid or free services yet.  I looked through some of the files via a quick free scan and saw about 160 files including some from Claria.  Not sure what to do about this.

Attempts to remove the about:blank page spyware often fail because there is a hidden .dll file loaded on your machine which reinstalls and renames itself after every reboot. I found CW Shredder removed this file but only on Windows XP machines. It is still wise to run a spyware scan afterwards to clean any other registry entries.
