Migrate File Luns in VNX
Hi there,
I have a customer that has implemented block and file on the same Fast VP pool, he's now got a bit more budget and whats to split out the File element and put them on dedicated spindles.
Is there any issue with using background lun migration to moves these luns to the new disks?

Hello,
Sorry I know it's an old post but I'd like to confirm my understanding :
* Existing NAS luns created on a VNX block mixed pool (file storage pool seen as "mapped")
* We want to migrate them on a new dedicated NLSAS 6+2 pool
As far as I understand, because the source is mixed and the destination is Raid 6,
* It will create problems to AVM
* It won't be supported.
Could someone confirm this statement please ?
