Vostro 5481 - Windows 11 take an hour to get to login screen

Hi, I have this frustrating problem after upgrading to Windows 11 (via Windows 11 Upgrade Assistant). After boot up or screen lock, it takes me about an hour to able to input my PIN to login or unlock my notebook. I can not use Ctrl Alt Del or enter Task Manager by any means (note that I was not logged on if the PC just booted up). I have tried to reinstall Windows 11 via Reset PC (keep personal files) but the problem won't go away.
Does anybody have the same problem? How do you fix it? I really don't want to go back to Windows 10.

Thanks,
Dat.

The Vostro team is working both with Microsoft and Intel to solve this. We should see a new BIOS on the Vostro 5481 drivers page by end of May.

Hi Chris,

Vostro 5581 has the same issue, so do we have the plan to fix as well?

I saw Dell release a letter BIOS. Is it to solve this problem?

According to Driver details, seem like they fixed security issues than the current issue

I've installed on my Vostro 5481 but unfortunately the problem is still there...

Update, the Vostro team has notified us that the BIOS release has been pushed to mid July.

I just stumbled on this thread after dealing with this problem for the last few days. So is the recommendation to roll back to Windows 10 until mid-July? Or are there any workarounds?

Never mind, I read further back in the thread and found Dell's workaround at this link: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000196864/vostro-5481-and-vostro-5581-do-not-boot-after-upgrading-to-windows-11. Waiting for the computer to come back up so I can give it a shot.
