I would also search to find where the largest subfolder of the directory you are in.You can use this to go down into each subfolder to find which file or directory has the most data. You can sometimes find large log bundles present in the /tmp directory that can be safely deleted.
When I opened the downloaded folder, I saw the vmtools and floppies files in it.
I copied these files to my newly created vmtools folder with the help of winscp.
I connected to vcenter server. I changed the UserVars.ProductLockerLocation file extension in the host-configure-advanced system setting extension and directed it to datastore-1.
I connected to the esx host via ssh and run the following command.
I restarted the esx host by putting it in maintenance mode.
I checked the location of the productlocker file extension by reconnecting with winscp.
I checked that the file was created in the datastore area I wanted.
There is a difference between a lab environment and a live environment.
Lab environment 7.0 live environment 6.7 but I don't think it will be a problem.
I have 7 hosts in total and I plan to apply the same operations on each host.

Hello taylanduzgun,

or if it's related with the usage of product locker, you can try to change it to another location.

In my lab, the same folder space usage is 69%.
I suppose there are some files that can be deleted or moved elsewhere.

Hi there ;
I did the tests in the lab environment.
The vmtools and productlocker extension appear on the osdata disk.
I imported the file extension into service-datastore1
I implemented the action plan below
First of all, I connected to the host with winscp and created a folder called vmtools in servicedatastore-1.
Then I downloaded the file I need from the link below
https://customerconnect.vmware.com/en/downloads/details?downloadGroup=VMTOOLS1200&productId=1259&rPId=85322

I have 7 hosts in total and I plan to apply the same operations on each host.

Looks fine.
I would be so happy if you could share the result.
