Bluetooth divice disappeared
Since I upgraded from XP to Windows 7 the bluetooth device diappeared from device manager.
I would appreciate any ideas on how to get it working.

Try downloading and installing this application from the Dell Website:
www.dell.com/.../precision-m4400

how can I install a driver for hardware that the OS does not recognize? I know there is a bluetooth device but it's ignored by the OS. Thanks!

It may be as simple as installing a bluetooth driver for your computer. What model of computer is this?
