Yes, I was at this stage. You got me right.
I waited about 15 hours to check the image, but it was never finished.

Try with a different flash drive, at least 8 GB in capacity. If you have a USB 3.0 port, use that. But, when the time comes to boot from the flash drive with Windows installer, use a USB 2.0 port if you have one.

I'm not clear what step you are at. Is the image still writing to the USB drive, not yet finished and verified?

Writing is highly affected by the speed of the particular flash drive. Some are very slow to write data.

Step 1 - Format the drive and set the primary partition as active. Connect the USB flash drive to your technician's PC. 
Step 2 - Copy Windows Setup to the USB flash drive. Use File Explorer to copy and paste the entire contents of the Windows product DVD or ISO to the USB flash drive.
Step 3 - Install Windows to the new PC.
