Vista Sleep Function with Keyboard
How do I assign the Vista sleep function to a MS keyboard "favorites" key?
My old MS keyboard had a dedicated sleep button. It was very convenient. My new MS Laser 7000 keyboard does not have a dedicated sleep button. I would like to assign (program) the sleep function to a favorites key. You could do this in XP with a command of rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState. By the way, I'm aware of the [Windows Key]+[Right Arrow]+[Enter] shortcut.
Can you help? Thanks.

Check this link HERE from Microsoft that has applications/drivers for their keyboards. I have a new MS Keyboard that has the sleep function but it also has programmable keys and the Microsoft software that I downloaded for it allows customization of many of the keys.
(The O's and Colts used to be my favorite teams).

I have no idea how to help, but I signed in to post because of your avatar.
Have been an Orioles fan since 1981....great avatar. It's sad to remember those days when they actually won something once in a while. Bumbry, Murray, Palmer, Boddicker, Flanagan, Weaver...ah the good old days.....oh, yeah Ripken's streak starting.....great times. I would love to relieve 1983 World Series all over again.
Now it's just sad!
Well at least my other pro sports teams are successful ( sarcasm)....LA Kings and LA RAMS...I mean, St. Louis Rams.....

The Avatar is from my "other life" as a Pedal Steel Guitar player.
I used to Live in Laurel MD (worked at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a programmer) so the "local" teams were the Orioles and Colts.
