Windows 11 Installation Assistant is the same as Windows update so you could use that method to update. I assume you are clicking on check for updates in the Windows update menu. This page at itechtics has more information.
Thank you for your response @JOcean. I would like to know if there are some functions on this laptop that the 22H2 update will break. Otherwise, I don't understand why the 22H2 update prompt is not showing up when I press the "Check for updates" button in the windows settings.
From what I understand, the 22H2 update is only a few months old and is being rolled out in steps much like the Windows 11 update was rolled out. I have 22H2 on my homebuilt and actually see very little changes. Mainly bug fixes and updates such as an Edge update.
