Windows 98SE Drivers for a GX260?
I have a legacy app that will not run on anything later than Windows 98SE. I need to replace the current computer running this app, and would like to use an Optiplex GX260. It came with XP, but it's old enough that there should be Windows 98 drivers. Unfortuately I can't locate any. Would anyone have an idea where I could find them?

Win 98/ME drivers are not compatible with XP drivers, and the XP hardware. If you must run that application best option is to buy an olde PC that runs 98. A PC from that era, if you can find one that works, should be cheap (under $100).
We had a lot of posts from users when Windows XP came out and users trying to use old Win98/ME hardware with XP. Many were forced to abandon the old hardware for a new PC in order to get Win XP.

I don't know how good it will be for 98, but it my be worth a try installing it in Virtual Box.
