I have a dell optiplex PC with Win 2000 COA, I had to reload the OS about a year ago, when I called Dell to order my restore cd, they asked if I wanted Win XP pro restore cd instead of Win 2000.

After getting my CD I installed the OS, which by the way did not need a product key and it activated sans any problems.

Now I am thinking of selling my old PC with Win XP loaded and a Win 2000 COA. I would like to upgrade and I can use the money from the old PC towards the new purchase.

My question is outside of EPA indemnification, am I liable for any licensing issues if I sell this PC. By the way I do not have the restore CD any longer.

Any help would be appreciated.
