Anyone has experiences with XPS Tower?

I am deciding between the XPS 15 and XPS Tower for video editting. I like the XPS 15 but seem like it has a lot of problems.

I can get the XPS 15 with i7 8th edition, gtx 1050ti, 16gb ram and 1 tb SSD for $1k6 I can get the XPS tower with i7 8700k, gtx 1070 ti, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd and 2 tb HDD for $1k4.

The problem is I found so many negative reviews about XPS 15 and almost no review about XPS tower. Please give me your advice. Thank you!

Serious video editors usually want a desktop instead of a laptop. Unless you need to do video work in the field, get a desktop that suits your needs. Forums usually have problems and complaints not praises.

sorry the TOWER , I got confused lacking full model # $849.99? THE 8930 ??????????????????

https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-desktop-computers/xps-tower/spd/xps-8930-desktop/xdvmstcr003s

get  T5610 Precision, desktop, and endless expansions  and upgrades,  for years and years.

the reviews are mostly NG on any PC or CAR.

no review forum stated, endless there are,, so we can talk ON  POINT.

the reviews on slow are 1/2 valid,

1: nags make customer angry and MS does that not dell,  stay off MS cloud and store, and void nags.

2: windows 10 need to run for many long hours to run fast, the PC must index the HDD;/SSD first. (new)

and slows the PC down. and other tuning so let it.

I run O&O shutup10 and shut off all spying and wow no nags at all , like the olden days.

I run pro grade w10 so I can delay updates, to when I WANT, not while im working.

how ever after build 1809 I do see more controls added by MS for updates.

also a new PC in a box needs to get all updates first and will and the PC will slow down and may even reboot.

slowing you down.

some claim PC is slow in the internet,

but it's wifi slow in their home or they are 100feet from their router, dah?

I read the dell reviews, for you, my guess you meant dell reviews and not 1000 others , like amazon or cnet...etc. the slow PC beefs are not letting the new PC finish indexing and doing all w10 update first. w10 does that out of the box, for sure if a major update just POPPED. let it sit on the internet and run for 24hours. then use it. top NGs (besides endless above silly stuff)

1: windows 10 nags, are not Dells , window 10 OOBe (out of box) is that, nag city, so use the no nags and no spy software APP. that includes windows 10 updates. (if you don't like W10 get free LINUX. ok>? do not blame Dell for MS. OK>  google (O&O shutup 10) bingo, (4 years now 100% solid)

2: the fans is very noisy in games and video editing, HSink fins are too small. so upgrade the HS. the only nag I get is one, w10 pro. 2015 to 2019 (all updates and 1809 build loaded) '"windows 10 needs to do updates, is it ok to do that now or later, click later)" that is it. 10 minute work and I'm in control: I use O&O shutup 10, free and set my GPedit.msc to only do this. my list for PRO copied from here.

Under Business set the 1st one to 364 days and the 2nd to 30.  (done here)
