Error code 2000-0142 validation 101151
I’m getting this error code. I have made sure cables are connected to hard drive. Have tried to start computer in safe mode for windows. Have run diagnostics but can’t get past error code. Is my hard drive dead?

Looks like your HDD failed and needs to be replaced. Sure hope your files are backed up elsewhere.
First, open the case and re-seat the SATA data cable connectors to motherboard and to drive. And also re-seat SATA power cable from PSU on drive.
If that doesn't help, you'll have to swap in a new HDD (or possibly an SSD), and load Windows and your apps on it.
Then reconnect the old HDD to spare SATA data port and power connector and try to copy your personal files onto the new drive, if they're not backed up elsewhere.
