XPS 8930, won't turn on, #2
A few months ago the hard drive in my Dell XPS 8930 got corrupted and was no longer usable. I recently got a new SSD to replace it (https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/dell-m2-pcie-nvme-gen-3x4-class-40-2280-solid-state-drive-1tb/apd/aa615520/storage-drives-media#tabs_section). Upon installing the new SSD I tried turning the PC on and nothing is happening, no lights, no sounds, nothing.
It has been off for months and before that I took it into a shop to see if they could identify the issue back when the hard drive packed up. There is a chance it is something they did that is the issue.
It is probably something really obvious, I just need some fresh minds to give suggestions.
Thanks

Did PSU pass the BIST?
Did you check to see if cables from PSU to motherboard, from motherboard to CPU, to power button, etc are all connected correctly? See Service Manual for the various connections.
You may want to replace the motherboard battery before you go any further. If nothing else, you'd rule the battery out... CR2032 coin cell, ~$3.
